I'm a Memphis native circling back to the Bluff City after living in North Carolina, South Carolina, and various other East Coast locales. 

 

Closing in on nine years in the Army Reserves, I'm finally at a point where I can finish my journalism degree and continue serving my country as a public affairs officer with the long-term goal of doing nonprofit public relations.

 

As a Civil Affairs Sergeant deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, I built relationships between our military and locals in the Middle East. As a veteran and aspiring PR professional, I want to continue building relationships and serving communities here at home. 

 

Currently, I am seeking opportunities at firms or organizations in need of a PR specialist.

 

I believe in putting family first, honoring service to my country second, and enjoying it all along the way.  This  often means taking a lazy weekend night to binge on Netflix or shutting off my phone and channeling my inner Forrest Gump on a long jog.
